Small and miniature art
Miniature art is a special love of mine, leading to this side collection of mini landscape and still life oil paintings I’d like to share. An extension of my ‘cosy wild places’, small works are beautifully suited to the idea of peering into little pockets of forest.
In specially chosen frames, each painting becomes a unique art object in itself - ideal for an eclectic gallery wall or shelf styling.
Small works also lend themselves to sustainable, reclaimed materials. Alongwith vintage frames, I'm doing miniatures on tiny stone benchtop samples and sliced floor boards from kitchen renovations. Each new surface texture brings something new to the piece.
These works are primarily at my Etsy shop, ‘Victoria’s Mini Art’.
