Oil on canvas. 101cm x 152cm. Ready to hang, unframed.
A low-hanging sun skims the tops of bracken in a fern glade, creating a dance of light that is delicate and gentle yet thronging with life.
This piece is created with energetic, broad brush strokes to imbue it with that sense of aliveness, allowing lime green fronds to hover above the surface. Underneath, layers of leaf litter are built with subtle layers of organic marks, and rich aubergine and warm chocolate tones that make the greens sing even more.
Shipping Australia-wide. This piece comes to you as a roll of painted canvas fabric (high quality linen, actually) in a mailing tube. This saves metres of plastic bubblewrap (Mother Nature thanks you!), and makes delivery far easier to handle for you. Any framer can easily prepare it for hanging, by attaching to a backing frame then adding the decorative outer frame of your choice. The price is lower on my 'unstretched' paintings to accommodate the extra step.
