In the tangles of twigs and grass, nestled into a tree, in a crook in the hillside, or just off the path, there are little creatures busy at their business with no reference to we humans. In my new Hollows collection, I revel in the mystery of what they do and where they go, leaving just a hint to make us wonder, wide eyed and delighted, at who might be in that hole or coming back to that nest when we look away.
