Oil on FSC wood panel, 60cm wide x 70cm high. Ready to hang unframed.
It is the turning of the season and new growth on the gum trees announces itself with crimson stalks extending from the older, brown wood. From pink and rust to blood red, the new tips are visceral, vibrant and full of life that makes me fall in love with them every year.
This sweet sapling spoke of everything humble and lovely about the bush in Spring. The contrast of rich reds and pinks with Australia's muted tones forever intrigues me as an artist.
I currently ship standard within Australia only. If you live elsewhere, please contact me to see if shipping to you is possible. Each painting is lovingly protected with tissue paper and bubble wrap, boxed and shipped from my studio in Canberra, ACT within 3 business days of the purchase date. I’m happy to discuss the option of arranging framing for you.
