Oil on stretched canvas, 76cm wide x 76cm high. Ready to hang unframed.
A low-hanging sun skims the tops of bracken in a fern glade, creating a dance of light that is delicate and gentle yet thronging with life.
This piece is created with energetic, broad brush strokes to imbue it with that sense of aliveness, allowing lime green fronds to hover above the surface. Underneath, layers of leaf litter are built with subtle layers of organic marks, and rich aubergine and warm chocolate tones that make the greens sing even more.
I currently ship standard within Australia only. If you live elsewhere, please contact me to see if shipping to you is possible. Each painting is lovingly protected with tissue paper and bubble wrap, boxed and shipped from my studio in Canberra, ACT within 3 business days of the purchase date. I’m happy to discuss the option of arranging framing for you.
