“Passing through”
“Passing through” is a new collection of small works inspired by summer road trips - when we are softened by warmth and relaxation as our minds wander with the country miles out the window. Charming vistas provide blurs of delight and colour among the neutral, endless landscape.
In the same way, in the production process I found myself moving seamlessly from piece to piece, following an imaginary landscape as it unfolded in my mind - until suddenly I had a whole collection of paintings before me, each of which I adored.
These pieces are on display at Dirty Janes, Canberra and Hug Framing + Gallery.
